As a Sales Administrator you are responsible for a wide range of tasks requiring excellent adaptability and initiative.

Duties can vary for this role and require a flexible approach, your main activities include:

  • Communicate with customers to build positive relationships.
  • Receive and process purchase orders
  • Verify orders
  • Contact customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Compiling information for monthly sales reports
  • Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments
  • Supporting sales and production with other administrative tasks
  • Liaise with the production department to ensure timely deliveries
  • Contacting customers daily to provide updates on orders and deliveries
  • Stay up to date with new products and processes
  • Communicate with suppliers to organise deliveries

  • Self-motivated and excellent organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills – including both verbal and written
  • A pro-active and flexible approach
  • A friendly and positive attitude
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and spreadsheets
